Author Biography

Jessica Hopson Burbach, Portland YouthBuilders Portland State University

I am an education doctoral student at Portland State University. My research interests include the resilience of students who reengage in education after being pushed out of mainstream schools and culturally responsive mathematics teaching. Currently, I am also a mathematics teacher at an alternative high school, Portland YouthBuilders, in Portland, OR.
