Digital Object Identifiers Coming to JUME

The age of digital object identifiers, DOIs has come to JUME. It will improve archiving, indexing, and the visibility of the work. In other words, published works in JUME will be crawled and indexed more broadly and be returned higher in the search criteria once the system is fully implemented. We have secured a sponsor so bringing this feature to authors will <>NOT< incur any fees to authors. We are working to assign all previously published works a DOI number and all new articles will be automatically assigned a DOI upon acceptance. Once an article is proofed, assigned a DOI and published online, any corrections to that article will incur a $30 (US) change fee.
